Thought it would be a nice product since I had garmin street pilot before. When it arrived, the outlook is nice but when u talk about Satellite, it’s terrible. It takes forever to get the signal…..was not like that with Garmin Street Pilot.

Ratings would not allow me 1 star. What a piece of Junk! What u should know.
No Manual, it does not come with a manual, minimal setup guide is all u get
U cant change the battery, so Garmin can charge an arm, a leg and a bucket of blood for a battery change. Then right after sucking your blood for a battery change,usually $60.00 or more, they will discontinue the unit without any support, just like the iQue. Of course u will not have a unit for a week or 2 while they do the battery change. I guess u should buy two units.
No AC charger, only car charger, u have to buy the AC charger, so you cant put address in unit inside the house. U will normally do this while driving as most of us do on a busy schedule. Not to worry garmin has a disclaimer in case u have an accident while driving. No carrying case, not even a cheap cover, it is essential to prevent scratches to units face. No Canadian mapping, only USA. Getting a preview of turn by turn directions is no longer available, you only get up to the minute turns as u go.
Finally as it is the low end model, it will be the first to be discontinued next year, prepare the landfills. Do not send it in for a battery overhaul, by the time it comes back it will be discontinued, no support. The ique is a vastly superior product, but then their sales team went to work and lets funk america. Their customer service is Bipolar, range form stink to great depending on the bipolar moods. I own 3 different garmin units. It shows a company who makes a good product in the past decides it time to take the consumers for a ride, we have had their confidence, now let us really stick it to them

This is the most horrible item I purchased from Amazon. It is not a GPS but joke. First of all, it takes up 2-3 minutes to load up. Then it takes anywhere between 5-10 minutes to locate the vehicle from satellite. And if it is not your best day, it may simply fail to find satellite in a bright sunny day, even in well populated city. Once I lost signal on I-5 between Los Angeles and San Diego and not once but 4 to 5 times in a single trip. I suggest, Amazon should remove this product from their catalog.

Just talked to their customer service, they DON’T give free map upgrade to any previous purchase even within 1 day old. They just guarantee new maps when purchased.

Compre este producto como regalo para mi esposo quien no es muy habil con los objetos electronicos. Despues de un par segundos ya era un docto en su manejo y la verdad es que se lo ha gozado mucho. En algunas ocasiones es dificil que obtenga la informacion satelital, pero finalmente lo hace, y en un par de ocasiones se ha enloquecido dando informacion que es evidentemente erronea, pero por el precio y el uso que le damos, creo que fue una excelente compra. Ademas fue enviado por la empresa vendedora casi que de inmediato, asi que lo pudimos disfrutar a los dos dias de su compra.
